The caricature depicts two seperate pictures. At left, Napoleon delivers his (altered) speech from 19 December 1813 to senators and deputies. A devil sits on the back of his chair. At right, Napoleon, kneels before the Allies, presenting to them several crowns, including the Pope’s tiara.
