Very rare caricature of the fall of Napoleon. A parody of Michelangelo’s painting of Charon and his boat of damned souls within his fresco of the Last Judgement at the Vatican. The persons are numbered from 1 to 49 and could be identified with an seperately engraved key. A facsimile of the key is enclosed.
