Etching on strong laid paper, signed and dated on the plate. Excellent, strong black and high-contrast impression of the 1st state, in very good condition. Slightly stained and slightly rubbed on the reverse upper right corner.

Very rare 1st state of one of the most beautiful sheets from Piranesi’s series „Veduti di Roma“, also the only landscape view from this series.
