A gigantic general Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, the hero of the Völkerschlacht at Leipzig in October 1813, holds a Liliputian Napoleon on his thumb and flips him on the nose. The model for Voltz‘ engraving was an anonymous caricature entitled „A great general and a little emperor“ which was published end May 1814 in London.
