Very rare deck that features unique illustrations of various animals – sometimes accompanied by a person – such as: lion, unicorn, colorful birds, deer, wild cats, camel, elephant, a human-faced monkey, etc. The animal cards stand out as the most creative aspect, blending the symbolic richness of Tarot with nature-inspired depictions. The inclusion of a variety of animals, from mythical creatures like unicorns to real ones like lions and peacocks, highlights the deck’s cultural and artistic significance. The deck was most likely inspired by the Bavarian animal tarot cards by Andreas Benedict Göbl (c. 1765). — in very good condition.
